Eating well KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for use in Year 2, or even younger students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the children will learn about the Eatwell Guide and how it can help us to eat a healthy, balanced diet. We will discuss the key components of a healthy meal, and with help of scaffolded resources, plan a set of healthy, balanced meals.
The lesson includes a case study starter, a healthy-eating video clip, a meal planning activity, and a roll and colour plenary task.

Feelings, change and loss KS1/Year 1/Autumn 1 PSHE lesson.
Created with a view to being delivered in the first half-term of the year, this hour-long, fully resourced lesson explores change, loss, and the emotional impact of losing something, or someone that we care about.
Whilst the lesson has been created with Year 1 in mind, the PowerPoint and activities may also be suitable for adjacent year groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about different kinds of change and the affect they have on our feelings. We will read The Heart and the Bottle by Oliver Jeffers, before completing a set of activities linked to the text.

A brand new lesson which details what we mean by sexual harassment, what constitutes as sexual harassment in the eyes of the law (UK), the different forms this can take and how this can be reported correctly. The lesson emphasises that this can happen to men too. Students will investigate case-studies, which aren’t all clear cut, to see if sexual harassment took place (all answers given in detail) as their main task. Best suited to upper KS3 or KS4.
